The business directory is an online resource for your broader community – parents, staff, past students, friends.

There are three levels of advertising – line, display and feature.

Advertising Options

Line – this option allows up to four lines of copy, it includes a bold heading and one website link.
Display – this option allows up to four lines of copy, includes a bold heading, a website and email link, logo.
Feature – this option allows for a customised display ad and includes a link to ‘read more’ which allows for an individual page with four thumbnail images, 1000 words and automatically generates a google map based on address details provided.

Payment

Payment is via a secure online gateway using PayPal.

Terms and Renewal

All ads are for a 12 month period. Automatic renewals will take place unless the advertiser provides one months notice.

Changes

Advertisers can change their ad at any time via the secure log in. This allows you to customise your offering based on season, special events, new product or service releases – the flexibility is all yours to target your ad to drive sales and keep your offering current.

Easy Steps to Creating Your Ad

1. Follow the ‘Add your business’ steps
2. Select the Type of Advertisement – Line, Display or Feature
3. Create your advertisement
4. Preview your advertisement
5. Agree to the Terms and Conditions
6. Pay for your advertisement through PayPal. Your advertisement will be sent to [insert contact name/position here] for approval. If approved it will appear in the [insert name of your organisation here] directory within two (2) working days.
7. Give some guidelines around image sizing in the areas of ‘Upload logo and images’. There is currently text there but it doesn’t specify an ideal image size. For example: images should be under 100k (even as low as 50k, depending upon the dimensions)
8. Can the data entered by the advertisers be exported by the client? If so, what will they get and in what format?
9. Can you please supply a description of the technology used in creating u-direct? For example see the squarespace stuff: http://www.squarespace.com/features/. Don’t expect the u-direct one to be as complex as this but the ICT people at the schools may need to be reassured about how it’s been built.
